This annual is native to California and is relatively easy to grow. Farewell to Spring will do well planted in full sun or partial shade. The soil should be well drained and be moderate to poor fertility; do not fertilize. This plant likes to dry out between watering. Plant in the fall in mild climates or in the spring. Farewell to Spring does not transplant well.
