This low growing annual is easy to grow from seed. It produces small white mounds of flowers. You can trim alyssum to encourage more blooms. Alyssum generally reseeds itself well and grows in most soil types. Alyssum will grow best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade. This low growing plant is a good addition to the front of flower beds, between pavers, in rock gardens, in containers, and many more places. Sow seeds fall, spring or summer with irrigation.
